Food safety recall round-up 20-29 September 2016
Possible cream spoilage
Denmark: Coop has withdrawn two batches of piskefløde (whipping cream) due to a high bacteria concentration which could make the cream spoil before the stated shelf life.
The 0.5L product with barcode 7340011311577 was made in Germany and sold in Kvickly, SuperBrugsen, Dagli- and LokalBrugsen, fakta, Irma and Coop.dk stores.
Excessive levels of total yeast number may cause the cream to turn sour before the end of the shelf life, making it unfit for human consumption.
